What is "Wednesdays on the Common"?

Simply, it is a gathering from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. during the months of June through October on the Lunenburg Common, which is on Route 2 in the center of Lunenburg.

Who gathers?

Anyone who chooses to!
    They may be local folks with products to sell. We have the steady presence of Twin Pine Farm and Macie's Maple, both of Lunenburg. Others, like Tom Cantin, have joined in and everyone is welcome. There is no fee to set up in the space of your choice, every week or when it works for you. You are free to sell anything you'd like (as long as it's legal) including yard sale items.
    They may be local organizations with various items to sell, or to display and converse about.
    They may be those who stop by to make a purchase.
    They may be those who spend time visiting, or taking their youngster to the playground, or joining in a board or yard game. 

Come out and enjoy this beautiful space with others, choosing the activities that interest YOU!
* there are picnic tables for snacks, a meal, playing board or card games you   
   bring or those provided (chess, checkers)
* visiting the nearby playground
* plenty of open space for throwing a Frisbee or playing a yard game you bring   
   along or those provided (Connect 4, Jenga, Yahtzee)
* making some music (impromptu solo or jamming with others)
* sitting in a lawn chair relaxing and/or visiting
* shopping a variety of items 
* providing items to sell
