Restoring historic buildings is a huge undertaking! We are taking one step at a time and have made significant progress over the years. The current task that's underway may not be visible when you drive by the town common or take a short detour up Park Avenue. You can be certain, though, there is always something in the works! There are material estimates to gather, applications for state permits to complete, meetings with various officials, volunteers and contractors...and then the big pieces: weather, manpower, and money.

We are receiving assistance with our restoration work by a Preservation Grant, made possible by a partnership between the Freeman Foundation and the Preservation Trust of Vermont.
